• Geotechnical Site Investigation: My design process begins with a fit for purpose site investigation to understand the geotechnical conditions. The results of this investigation are presented in a report that will form part of the supporting documentation for building consent. If you already have a geotechnical report, we may be able to skip this step depending on the investigations that have already been undertaken.
• Design Calculations: Next, I undertaker a detailed analysis to determine the most suitable retaining wall solution. I consider factors such as soil characteristics, load requirements, building act requirements, and potential seismic activity to ensure the retaining wall’s integrity and durability. The results of this process are presented in a design report, along with all the required supporting documentation, such as a PS1, a safety in design register, and a LBP design memorandum.
